Newly launched EPICA-DIPG consortia to test pioneering immunotherapy strategy for children with DIPG
EPICA – DIPG, a European consortium, coordinated by the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona (IRSJD), is beginning a five-year project to test an innovative immunotherapy for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a highly aggressive paediatric brain tumour, in a multi-country Phase I clinical trial.

Working together on innovative paediatric cancer trials
EPICA-DIPG is part of the European Union’s Cancer Mission, within the cluster “Diagnosis and Treatment – Innovative clinical trials for paediatric cancer”.
Besides EPICA-DIPG, this cluster brings together two additional projects funded under the same call: PHOENIX (coordinated by Vall d’Hebron Research Institute – VHIR), and THEODORA (coordinated by Institut Curie).
